These activities are designed to allow you to expand your personal networks and build lasting connections with the many commercial, charitable, and artistic venues in Springfield.

The membership roster is nearly 400 young professionals from a wide variety of careers and industries. If you are not a member yet, we invite you to join us.

YSPN is holding a build day for Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County.  You can read about House 87 that we are working on.  The date is Saturday, May 19 and there are 2 different shifts, morning and afternoon.  We could really use some more afternoon people, so grab a friend and signup together!  We will be providing breakfast and lunch to volunteers and your support of this effort is greatly appreciated!

There will be an orientation from 5:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday May 17th at Habitat office at 1514 W. Jefferson St.  Snacks will be provided.  If you are unable to make this orientation, we can work with you on the build day to get your orientation done, so don’t let that stop you.

Looking for an opportunity to serve on a nonprofit board? This event is for you!

YSPN Members have the opportunity to select from a list of nonprofit organizations and meet in a speed matchmaking setting to see if there is a good match for the YSPN member to serve as a board member, an ex-officio board member or a board committee person.  A networking and reception area will also be provided.
